    Trayana Kaleycheva is a doctoral candidate in the School of Communication at Florida State University and a Fulbright Scholar. Her research interests lie at the intersection of media and psychology, with a particular focus on the impact of new technology on interpersonal communication. Her work also explores how media reflect and shape societal perceptions of gender, race, age, social class, sexuality, and marital status, while examining issues of intercultural communication, stereotyping, and the dynamics between in-groups and out-groups.
